Marilyn Bradshaw & Bev O'Sullivan from What's On 4 UK: "Even after a HUGE awards programme last year, 2015 has seen our BIGGEST and most exciting awards to date! We have we received a record number of votes and all of our finalists should be very proud to be held in such high esteem by the nation's parents."
Jacqui, Ros and Gemma took to the stage to receive the award on behalf of the families at Twins at Totstime. Jacqui, founder of Twins at Totstime: "Twins at Totstime is a not-for-profit parent and toddler group for families with multiples, run by volunteers. The group was formed in August 2011 by myself with the incredible support of good friends and fellow twin Mum's Ros and Kirsty. We needed a place where our twins could play in a safe environment and parents could relax in the knowledge that they won't be judged if their children cry or fight over the same toy. To date we have 157 registered families. We support families weekly through our play-session and also daily through a private online community group. Gemma, is one of our twin mum's that attends the sessions frequently and can tell you herself, the benefits of going to a twin club..." Gemma "I have attended Twins at Totstime now for 2 and a bit years, I wouldn't know what I would have done without the group due to the help, advice and support!! Also I have made some life long friends and will continue to volunteer once my boys who are two and half go pre school in sept as it I want to give back."
It was an absolutely fabulous day and to receive the award is a fantastic achievement for our group. Thank you to everyone who has made Twins at Totstime the amazing multiples group it is!
